ISO/IEC 27001:2005 compatible information security management system construction and implementation project.

Considering the nature of our work we are well aware of the fact that information and IT systems are essential for running our business and important support to run the businesses of our partners. Information, software, hardware, and IT systems are exposed to potential and real threats daily. We believe that information security measures are more efficient and cost effective when they are build in directly into systems and IT services.

These are the main reasons why we decided in 2001 for preparation of the ťIRC BS 7799Ť internal project, the goal of which was BS 7799-2:2002 and ISO/IEC 17799:2000 compatible information security management system construction and implementation.

As the first Slovenian organization IRC received an Information Quality Management System Cedrtificate back in 2003.

Within the internal "IRC ISO 27001" project we implemented all measures in order upgrade the ISMS and make it compatible to the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005.
RC IRC received ISO 27001 certificate in October 2006.

"The entire information system, external interfaces, electronic communication devices, software products, and integrated solutions ".
